Lawrence House Art

Z. Zandbergen
June 20, 2019

For four years in college, I lived in Lawrence House. Lawrence House was named after Elizabeth Crocker Lawrence, nicknamed “Tip,” “Tippy,” and “Crockerdile.” I drew very many crocodiles for house apparel, newsletters, and party invitations.

House apparel printed on the rump of jogger-style sweatpants.

A loving modification of the human Tippy portrait hung in the house living room (sometimes stolen by rival houses). Printed on a long-sleeved tee shirt.

Seasonal variations of a header for our monthly newsletter, posted in the bathrooms. I edited the newsletter in my role as House Secretary.

A handful of Spot the Difference games for the newsletter, 2016-17.

A comic about winter ghosts.

Selected party invitations.
